The Ambassador meets the President of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF)

 Holland (daily Roshni News International …… Embassy press release) Mr. Tariq Bugti, President of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) called on H.E. Ambassador Syed Haider Shah at the Embassy.

 While appreciating Pakistan’s national hockey team’s performance in the recent international events, Ambassador Shah underscored the need to maintain momentum by continuously cultivating talent for Pakistan’s hockey development. He said that with a long-term vision and concerted efforts, Pakistani hockey team could achieve its past glory in near future. He also discussed prospects of hockey exchanges with the Netherlands to promote sports cooperation. He shared that since 1987, the Embassy has been organizing Pakistan Ambassador Friendship Hockey Cup in The Hague to promote sports cooperation and exchanges.

 Mr. Bugti thanked the Ambassador for the support to promote hockey exchanges with the Netherlands. He also expressed his keen interest to invite the Dutch junior and senior hockey teams to Pakistan for participation in different hockey tournaments next year.
