On the occasion of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was organized at the Embassy of Pakistan in Vienna, Austria. His Excellency Ambassador of Pakistan to Austria and Slovakia Mohammad Kamran Akhtar Malik read out the messages of the President and Prime Minister and hoisted the national flag. Ambassador of Pakistan Mohammad Kamran Akhtar Malik paid tribute to the struggle of the founders of Pakistan. He recalled the determination of the nation to realize the vision of Quaid-i-Azam to make Pakistan a progressive and progressive Islamic country. His Excellency Ambassador highlighted Pakistan’s efforts for peace and stability in South Asia along with democracy, freedom, equality, tolerance, socio-economic justice and adherence to the values of Islam. Reiterated Pakistan’s support to the people of Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) who continue their struggle for their right to self-determination. Eminent members of the community and representatives of Kashmiris living in Austria and Slovakia also participated in the event. They reiterated his determination to redouble his efforts for the security, prosperity and development of the country of Palestine and Kashmir. Finally, the cake was cut in reference to Pakistan’s birthday and the ceremony ended with a prayer for the development and prosperity of Pakistan.
