Vienna, the capital of Austria, has been ranked first among the world’s best cities to live in.  Vienna has been named the best city to live in the world for the third year in a row. Vienna has been named the best city to live in the world for its stable infrastructure, culture, education, medical services and entertainment.

 

The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has released its list of the best cities to live in around the world for 2024.  After Vienna, the European country Copenhagen is in second place, which was at the same number last year. The city of Zurich in Switzerland came in the third place, followed by the Australian city of Melbourne in the fourth place of Canada. The city of Calgary and the Swiss city of Geneva jointly ranked 5th, while the Australian city of Sydney and the Canadian city of Vancouver jointly ranked 7th. The top 10 includes only one Asian city, which is the Japanese city of Osaka, which is ranked 9th.  While New Zealand’s city of Auckland was also declared the 9th best city in the world to live in. If we talk about the most unsuitable cities to live in, the Syrian city of Damascus is at the 173rd place, followed by Libya.  The city of Tripoli (172), Algeria (171) and the Nigerian city of Lagos (170) are there, while Dhaka is ranked 168th.
