In Vienna, Austria, a peaceful protest was organized in front of the Indian Embassy under the leadership of Kashmir Freedom Front Austria Chairman Professor Musarat Shaukat Awan to express solidarity with the Pakistani Armed Forces and express gratitude to them on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 5 pm. A large number of Kashmiri and Pakistani people participated in the protest. The aim of the protest was to express solidarity with the Pakistani Armed Forces, raise voices of protest against India’s recent aggression and violation of international laws. The protest began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, which was performed by Umar Khattab. The participants in the protest expressed their feelings by raising slogans like “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Afwaj-e-Pakistan Payendabad”. Special addresses at the event were given by Kashmir Freedom Front Austria Chairman Professor Musarat Shaukat Awan, Pak Friends Austria President Allama Ghulam Mustafa Baloch, Pakistani Community Forum Austria General Secretary Imran Ali Mughal, Alhaaj Khawaja Naseem, Azhar Shah, Muslim League-Nawaz President Ali Sharafat, Pakistani Christian Community President Kaleem Masih and Ali Abdul.
The speakers from the Pakistani community expressed their feelings. We congratulate the entire nation on the successful Operation Bunyan Marsus of the Pakistani Armed Forces and praised the resilience and unity of Pakistanis in the fight against Pakistan’s aggression. Pakistan is a peaceful country that has always been a supporter of peace, but our silence should not be interpreted as weakness. We pay tribute to the effective response of the Pakistani forces to the enemy under the leadership of General Syed Asim Munir and the Pakistani forces have made the entire nation proud with their operational skills and resilience. The speakers called on the international community, especially the European Union, to take notice of India’s human rights violations and play an effective role for sustainable peace in South Asia.
On this occasion, sweets were distributed among all the people. Finally, prayers were offered for the repose of the souls of the martyrs, the speedy recovery of those injured in the Indian aggression, the progress, prosperity, peace of Pakistan, and the liberation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir from its illegal occupation.
