His Excellency Ambassador Kamran Akhtar delivered Pakistan’s National statement today at the (IAEAORG) Board Of Governors Meeting

Report: Muhammad Amir Siddique Journalist Vienna Austria.His Excellency Ambassador Kamran Akhtar delivered Pakistan’s National statement today at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) intergovernmental organization Board Of Governors Meeting in which he appreciated the recently concluded agreement between Iran and the Agency on the resumption of Safeguards application in Iran.

Ambassador Akhtar underscored the  inadmissibility of attacks on nuclear facilities devoted for peaceful uses under international law as per relevant UN Resolutions as well as DG’s reports on the subject

He added that Pakistan has maintained that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path forward to address all issues and that all parties should remain open to dialogue and negotiations, with due respect to the rights, obligations and responsibilities of all sides.
