The Migrant party SÖZ (Social Austria of the Future),calls for Ramadan decorations in Vienna:
Report. Muhammad Amir Siddique Journalist Vienna Austria.
For the first time in the history of Austria. The Migrant party SÖZ calls for Ramadan decorations in Vienna. The SÖZ party in Vienna is committed to ensuring that appropriate decoration is installed on the streets of Favoriten in Vienna’s 10th district during Ramadan. This demand is based on the successful example from London and Frankfurt, where Ramadan decorations were put up on the streets again this year.
Party chairman Hakan Gördü, MSc.Emphasized the importance of that this is not just about celebrating the diversity of the city, but also about promoting tolerance and cohesion. He also emphasized that It is important that every person, regardless of their ethnic or religious affiliation, feels welcome in Vienna.”
The SÖZ party believes that Ramadan decorations are not only a sign of appreciation for the Muslim community, but also help to raise awareness of different cultures and religions. This demand of course also includes the recognition and celebration of religious holidays of other faith communities such as Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali or Vesak. The migrant party SÖZ would like to use the tax money of the Viennese to ensure that the streets of Vienna are designed according to their faith on their holidays. This could probably even be implemented under SPÖ Mayor Michael Ludwig. His political pandering to Muslims is similar to that of Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, who never forgets to congratulate “all Muslims” on the month of fasting.
