The Embassy of Pakistan organized the Sports Festival 2026 in The Hague. The event attracted a large number of Pakistani and Dutch community members who greatly enjoyed this festive-filled sports gala.

Holland  ( Daily Roshni News International … Special Correspondents)The festival included Pakistan’s Ambassador’s Dosti (friendship) Hockey Cup 2026; friendly Kabaddi match and tug of war competition.

   The friendly hockey match was played between the teams of Pakistan Embassy and the Dutch Community.  Both teams displayed excellent hockey skills and Pakistan Embassy Team won the match. The Dosty Hockey Cup is a landmark event organized by Pakistan Embassy to promote friendship and people-to-people exchanges in the Netherlands.

The friendly Kabaddi match, was played among the Pakistani community members from The Hague and Amsterdam. The two teams displayed the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork. The spectators cheered on the players and appreciated passion for Kabaddi, one of Pakistan’s most cherished traditional sports.

Similarly, the community members also enjoyed the friendly tug of war competition and appreciated players’ unity, fitness and determination.

Chief Guest Ambassador Syed Haider Shah distributed mementos among the players. He appreciated the sponsors, and organizers for successfully organizing the sports festival and for continuing this excellent tradition.

Later on, the Ambassador hosted the participating teams at Pakistan House for a traditional Pakistani dinner.
